Catholicose faction who don't know the correct name of "Valiya
Thirumeni" of Aluva celebrating the centenary of
his ordination as bishop.
One of the
"Catholicose faction publication" has addressed
our beloved "Valiya thirumeni" by the
family name of Catholicose faction bishop late
lamented Mar Makarios (Kuttikandathil).
Before
they were only trying to claim Bishops of Syrian
Orthodox Church as theirs. Now they have started
changing the names of our beloved forefathers.

Mor Gregorious Jacobite Students Movement (MGJSM)
മോര് ഗീഗോറിയോസ് യാക്കോബായ വിദ്യാര്ഥി സംഘം
As part of the reorganization process of the students organization
of Jacobite Syrian Church, a meeting was held at
MSOT seminary Mulanthuruthy, Vettickal on
28/05/09. H.G Dr. Kuriakose Mor Theophilose, Fr.
Elias Kappungudiyil, Dn. Bobby John, MBSC
representatives and members from different
churches participated.
A meeting is
planned to be conducted at MSOT seminary,
Vettikal, Mulanthuruthy on June 14th 2009 from
2.00 PM to discuss further functioning of MGJSM
(Mor Gregorious Jacobite Students movement /
മോര് ഗീഗോറിയോസ് യാക്കോബായ വിദ്യാര്ഥി
സംഘം).
We request all students of Jacobite Syrian
Church, all those who are working close to
educational field (Retd. also) and those
who are interested to be part of the functioning
of MGJSM to come and participate in the meeting
to be held on 14th June.

99th Anniversary of ordination of St. Athanasius
Paulose as bishop
Today is the
99th anniversary of the consecration of the
former Malankara Metropolitan & head of the
Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in India, ST.
ATHANASIUS PAULOSE, popularly known as 'VALIYA
THIRUMENI of Malankara'. It was on 9th June
1910, Kochu Paulose Ramban was consecrated
Metropolitan (Archbishop) by name 'MOR
ATHANASIOUS PAULOSE', at his home parish, the
ancient Mor Sabor and Mor Afroth church,
Akaparambu, by H.H. the Patriarch of Antioch and
all the East Mor Ignatius Abded’ Aloho (Abdulla
II).
The 'SUSTHATHIKON' enclosed here is the (copy of
the original text) statement of empowerment
given in writing to ST. ATHANASIOUS PAULOSE (Valiya
Thirumeni), after his ordination as a
Metropolitan of the Angamaly diocese of the
Jacobite Syrian Church by the Chief Primate of
the Church, His Holiness Ignatius Abded'Aloho
II, the Patriarch of the Apostolic See of
Antioch & All the East on 5th October 1910. The
original document is about 10 ft (3 meters) long
and 1.5 ft wide.
Also is enclosed here is the Malayalam
translation of the 'SALMUSA' (the declaration of
faith submitted by Mor Athanasius Paulose, to
his Supreme spiritual supreme of the Church, His
Holiness the Patriarch of Antioch)

Meeting to decide about 13th Dhukrono of Mor Baselious Paulose 2nd at
Malekkurisu today
"Yellow Journalism at its Best"
"Metran
kakshi internet media" the group that born and
live on
"Lies".
It was always their tactic to target Jacobite
church leaders when something goes against them.
This year when they lost the Thrikkunnath
Seminary Case both in district court and High
Court, "Metran kakshi internet media" tried their best to
spread the news that they won the case and to
create confusion among users.
Now they have come with the same tactics saying one
of our church leader is questioned by CBI
yesterday to create confusion among our
faithful. ( As they
understood people knows the truth, they have
removed the news in no time, They have proved themselves as
untruthful ).
We have first hand
info that its completely nonsense and baseless.
Once again "Metran kakshi internet media" showed their standards.
Its time
for "Metran kakshi internet media"s fund collection and hence
they have no other
way than attacking Jacobites to get the
attention.
Inaguration of "Tabore heights" was held
on 31st of May 2009.
Tabore heights is a charitable institution
under the able leadership of H.G Joseph Mor Gregorious of Kochi Diocese.
It's
aim is to help poor people to meet their children's education. Tabore heights
started a boys hostel at Arakunnam, Ernakulam district. Rev. Fr. Samson is the
Director of the institution.

St. Mary's Jacobite Syrian Valiyapalli Piravom - "Pentecost Sunday"
H.B Baselios Thomas met the newly elected ministers to Loksabha
H.B Baselious thomas 1st met the newly
elected ministers at Delhi and congratulated.
He also met congress leader Sivraj Patel and expressed the thanks for giving
full support for Holy visit of H.H Ignatious Zakka 1st Patriarch of Antioch &
All the East held last year. As H.B was on US Diocese visit and was not feeling
well after the visit, he took this opportunity to thank Shivraj Patel when he
went to Delhi to congratulate the newly elected ministers.
H.G Mathews Mor Aprem also accompanied him.
